Get your toddler started on LEGOs with this car-themed Duplo set. Little boys love playing with cars and what is better than a custom car that you made yourself! You and your toddler can assemble and disassemble over and over again to make one of a kind creations. You can also expand your Duplo collection later on to include other sets which can all combine together.
Give them the gift of their first Power Wheels with this cool Lightning McQueen zoomer. Push button operation makes it really easy for them to figure it out and since it’s a beginner one, it doesn’t go over 2 mph and has a bunch of cool sounds and gadgets. This would definitely be a favorite gift of any toddler boy!
Little boys love trains and this Train Track Set is the perfect starter kit for your little one. It’s very reasonably priced for an 80 piece set, which is full of not only tracks but also buildings, street signs, trees, and trains. It’s really everything you need to set you up for a while and have lots of fun with.
Is your little one fascinated with balls of all sorts? Or trying to keep up with older siblings? With this nifty Sports Center, they can be the star too while practicing soccer or basketball skills. The LED scoreboard keeps track of basketball score up to 10 and encourages the toddler with fun phrases. They can practice dunking the basketball or scoring soccer goals.
Every little boy needs some building materials and this 80 piece Mega Bloks set is a good base set to build off of in the future. It’s compatible with all the other Mega Bloks sets if you want to expand it in the future and I love that it has a handy zipped storage bag to help keep toys organized.
Parents might get tired of hearing this toy, but most kids love to bang on things so it’s great fun for them. My little one is always trying to play with big brother’s drum set and this is a great way to get them their own set to bang on. It also has modes to teach them letters and numbers as well as to follow along a song.
I love the ingenuity that abounds in kids toys. Things like this water drawing mat did not exist 10 years ago but what a great idea! They can draw all they want without making a mess. The pens have water in them and the “art” disappears as the water dries. The mat itself is waterproof and can be rolled up. It’s also 40″ x 28″, big enough for multiple kids to draw on or to draw with a parent.
I remember when my boys had a similar fishing game growing up, they really loved it! This one is magnetic and wooden which is great because it’s sturdy and bound to last (unlike the plastic one we had). This set comes with 26 ocean animals and 2 fishing rods that actually retract with the turning of a handle like the real ones.
When the child gets older, this set can be used to play a math game, adding up the numbers on all the fish he caught to see if he has the higher score. I also love that it comes in a nice round box that can be used to store the game.
Their first remote control car! This one has 4 interchangeable characters that can go in the car for a ride. The controller is easy to use, with just 2 buttons – one to go forward and one to go backward and turn. Nothing too confusing, just a lot of fun for a toddler! The car also makes honking sounds and the headlights flash for an added effect. This is a must have gift for a toddler boy!
This little truck is so cool! It’s full of wrenches and screws and other tools for a lot of fun play time. The truck not only stores all the materials, but it also comes apart to become a workbench. Toddlers can twist screws, pound plastic pegs into the workbench and there’s also gears to rotate on it. The truck can also be pulled behind with the string attached to it.
What I love about this scooter is that it grows with them all the way until they are 12 years old or so. It comes with a removable seat that attaches to the handlebar at two different heights. The handlebar itself has 4 different height options, from 25 1/2″ to 34″, to accommodate kids of all heights. I like that it has a wide, nonslip deck and flashing wheels.
Another cool thing about it is that it uses Lean to Steer technology so it’s a more natural way of maneuvering the scooter. If your little one is into scooters at all, this would be a great gift that would last a long time.
Introduce your little one to musical instruments of all sorts in this 22 piece wooden set that includes “shaking, tapping, beating and blowing instruments“. I like that there is a few different type of shakers, not just one kind and it also comes with a gender-neutral clear backpack for carrying it all (and using it later for something else if you want).
If your little one is into dinosaurs, this would be a really neat track set for him to pretend play. It comes with 2 Dinosaurs and military vehicles as well as scenery, flexible tracks and even a hanging bridge. Perfect gift for any fan of the Jurassic Park/World movies or dinosaurs in general. The track can be assembled into smaller tracks that are enclosed, or a large track that includes the bridge. They can pretend to chase dinosaurs or run away from them, classic Jurassic Park style.
This cool trike can be either a tricycle with pedals or becomes a balance bike when pedals are taken off. I love the versatility of that, because balance bikes are all the rage these days but it’s also nice to have a traditional tricycle. It has a sturdy steel frame and comfort grip handlebars and even folds up for easy traveling to the park, etc.
These cute little set of construction vehicles are friction powered so just with a little push in either direction, they will use the momentum to wheel themselves forward. Perfect size for toddler hands, bright colors to keep them engaged and sturdy built to last. This set of 4 includes a dump truck, cement mixer, bulldozer and tractor.
I’m so glad these have come down in price because they used to be only available in MagnaTiles and the price was prohibitive. But not anymore! This huge set of 104 pieces has plenty to let their imagination fly. It includes wheels to make cars or trucks, alphabet and number cards to incorporate learning into play and plenty of fun shaped pieces to make a ton of projects. Build simple projects or branch out to more intricate ones like a windmill, a locomotive, or a ferris wheel.
This animal themed rocking chair is bound to become a favorite in your tot’s playroom. Small enough for them to do on their own, and comfy to sit on. It also comes in not only a cow, but also an elephant and even Scooby Doo.
Help them discover gravitational forces in this fun car racing zig zag track. You can use the simple wooden cars included or your own cars. They can experiment with putting the cars in on any of the 4 ramps and racing them to see which one wins.
Kids love forts of all kinds and this one already comes in the shape of a car. It can be used indoors or outdoors as the fabric is waterproof. You can put it in their playroom and fill it with balls for a diy ball pit. You can put some blankets in there for playing or sleeping in. The side can be open or closed and either way, it’s well ventilated at the top.
I love this cool looking Harley trike as their first tricycle. It has a sturdy base and wheels and comfortable handlebars. If you’re not into the Harley look, you could always go with Thomas the Train instead or just plain old Kawasaki. As a bonus, there is also a secret storage compartment under the seat.
This interactive desk is great for the playroom! It comes with 5 activity sheets, each one with a different theme – Numbers and Counting, Fruits and Colors, Alphabet and Letter Sounds, Human Body and Music Jammer. Additional expansion packs can be purchased separately for even more educational fun!
The desk flips up to reveal a chalkboard and paper can be clipped to it to make it an art easel. And it has an attached toy phone that they can “call” people with. The desk itself is sturdy and comes with a chair.
Delta Mickey Mouse Desk With Storage Bin
If you or child child are fans of Mickey, nothing rounds out the decor like this Mickey Mouse desk. It can be used as a space for coloring or reading and as they grow, a place for doing schoolwork. It can hold up to 50 lbs so it will serve them through approximately kindergarten or 1st grade.
There is a cloth storage box under the seat where you could store coloring books and supplies. A built in but removable cup can be used to hold writing utencils. This desk would match really well with other Mickey themed furniture such as toy organizers or even beds.
This is a great beginner Pogo jumper! It’s not a Pogo “stick”, because instead it has a bungee so it’s flexible and the base is made of foam. There are so many cool features of this toy that were obviously well thought out by the manufacturer, which I definitely appreciate as a parent.
First, the bungee’s unstretched length is 17″, but it can stretch to accommodate little kids, big kids and even adults (up to 250 lbs!). Second, it squeaks when you hop. Now, who can resist that? And with a foam base and foam handles, it’s safe and comfortable as can be.
If your boy is anything like mine, they love playing with tools of all sorts. This Workshop Tool Bench is perfect for letting them do so in a safe way. It comes with 12 play tools such as wrench, hammer, an electric drill and more. And it has an abundance of screws and nuts and bolts to have fun with.
It all comes enclosed in a carrying case which doubles as the workbench when assembled.
This 101 piece set comes in its own box for easy storage and carrying, which is always helpful. It comes with two wrenches and dozens of parts to make them into different shapes – everything from helicopters to robots to transformers and much more.
It’s also important to note that this set is Lead free, BPA free and Phthalate Free which is not the case with a lot of the products on Amazon.
